I would welcome rain at any time right now because we need it real bad, however, it was very nice to catch this one at 07:20 this morning! This is the K634 approaching the at grade crossing with Bennetts Corners road. Memphis just is'nt like it used to be since the signals at CP302 were razed. The train is eastbound on track 1 of CSX's Rochester-sub. |

While doing some "bookwork" at home late this afternoon, I decided to turn the scanner on. There is a work zone at CP301 today so trains are getting "stacked-up" on both sides of it. That gave me plenty of time to get out here for this one! At 17:13 here's westbound train G343 passing through Jordan on track 2 of CSX's Rochester-sub. I like how the lead unit still says Santa Fe on it! |

Apparently these crude oil trains are new business for CSX and they are placing high priority on these movements. This train is near mile marker 304 on CSX's Rochester subdivision. |
