Album Info:2013 was another year of interesting operations on the GWR. Traffic was at record levels with some weeks seeing over 700 cars handled!! Unit trains of Turbine blades, oil, corn and frac sand with run through power from BNSF, UP, NS, CSX were common. However, the GWR no longer rostered any locomotives lettered for the railroad. Lease units from Helm and GMTX handled the switching and locals. Enjoy this album of this unique railroad

Description:  One of the most unusual locomotives to run on the GWR was this EMD SD70ACe demonstrator. A flood washed out part ot the UPs Fort Collins branch and the UP local was detoured from La Salle to Cheyenne, interchanged to the BNSF and delivered to the GWR at Fort Collins and they took it to Windsor.
