Album Info:Here is a six-page article by Mr. Al Rung entitled "Want To Rent A Train?" It was published originally in the April 1953 issue of "Trains & Travel" magazine, pages 33-38. "In June 1952, the Chamber of Commerce of Harrisburg, Pa., chartered an all-coach Pennsylvania Railroad train from Harrisburg to Chicago ~ where the group planned to board a Georgian Bay Line boat to cruise the Great Lakes. Some five days later, they would dock at Buffalo ~ and they wanted the same Pennsylvania train waiting for them for the return trip to Harrisburg." (Pages 33-34)

Description:  Here is page three of a six-page article by Al Rung entitled "Want To Rent A Train?" It was published originally in the April 1953 issue of "Trains & Travel" magazine, page 35. Partial Caption: "Meet on Horseshoe Curve! The westbound Harrisburg Special meets the 'St. Louisan,' eastbound from St. Louis, at the center of the historic curve." Visible at the right (L to R) are PRR engines #5767 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5767 was constructed in April of 1952. The road numbers of the EP-20's pulling the "St. Louisan" are not recorded.
