Album Info:A wash-out on the Buffalo & Pittsburgh between Penfield and DuBois, Pennsylvania forced the B&P to detour a train north on the Western New York & Pennsylvania railroad in an effort to get the train to Buffalo, NY. The big deal was that four six-axle ALCO's were powering this move! There was even talk about the possibility of doubling the 2% plus grade at Keating Summit; meaning that they would take half the train over the hill, go back light-power and bring the remaining half over and then put the whole thing back together again. It was an intense chase! Luckily for me I had a well experienced co-pilot with me.
