The museum's ex-MEC Railbus was giving train rides this day from Chaplin Station out to the end of the gravel driveway alongside the New England Central Railroad's line through town. Seen here returning to the station, passing the former tower from atop the former Niantic River bridge, since replaced by Amtrak.

Maine Central Railbus 10 poses at the old Chaplin station of the Boston Haqtford & Erie Railroad between runs. Used for railroad purposes beginning in 1872, the building was constructed in 1850 for another purpose. Moved to the museum property in 1991.
