Description:
Great action shot of Chesapeake & Ohio 2-6-6-2 Mallet Mogul with a long drag of coal cars. Built by Alco-Richmond in September of 1912 as C&) #748, it was renumbered 1349 in August of 1924. Specs - serial #51316, class H-4, 56.25" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 22x32" high pressure cylinders, 35x32" low pressure cylinders, engine weight of 435,000 lb, tractive effort of 93,600 lb. No location or date was given for the photo but Gene Huddleston was the photographer.
