LV 4-6-2 #2033 - Lehigh Valley
Title:  LV 4-6-2 #2033 - Lehigh Valley
Description:  This loco had a long and interesting life. It started out as LV 2-6-2C #794 built by Baldwin in 1906. The entire group of ten 2-6-2's were renumbered in 1905. LV #794 became LV 2-6-2 #2234. The LV Sayre Shops then rebuilt the 2-6-2's from 1906 into 4-6-2C camelback steam locomotive. This time the loco was renumbered LV 4-6-2C #2234. Finally, in August of 1920, the camelback 4-6-2 was rebuilt into a K-3 class standard cab 4-6-2 and renumbered 2033. The loco was met the scrapper's torch in July of 1951. Charles Winters photo
