Originally built by Baldwin in October of 1920 as MILW 2-8-2 Mikado #8226, it was renumbered furing the Milwaukee Road reorganization to MILW #526. After nearly 33 yeaars of service, the loco was retired in December of 1953 and later scrapped. Specs - 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine wt of 287,600 lb, tractive effort of 54,723 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
