Title:  Rio Grande GP7 5102
Description:  Working through the yard at Alamosa, GP7 5102 rolls past. 5102 was built by EMD in October 1950. It would be sold to the Rock Island in 1972 and operated for until mid-1974. It was stored and later sold to Precision National in 1977. PNC would refurbish the unit and operate it as part of its lease fleet (PNC 4201)

Title:  D&RGW GP7 5104
Description:  D&RGW GP-7 5104 at Alamosa, Colorado on August 18, 1965, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built in June 1952 (c/n 14429) on EMD Order 5093, this unit was traded back to EMD in 1972 on an order of GP40-2's. Thiw was second number 5104, the first being renumbered from 5104 to 5100.

Description:  Seen at North Yard in Denver, GP7 5106 was in the process of spotting cars. 5106 was built by EMD in June 1952. It would be sold to the Rock Island in 1972, becoming CRI&P 4204. The GP7 would be sold to Precision National in 1977 and used in PNC's lease fleet.

Description:  PUEBLO CO Oct 6 1978 -- Rio Grande GP7 5108 is shown at the engine facility at Pueblo. EMD built the unit in June 1952 (s/n 14433). In 1984 it went to KYLE as 5108 then to Texas & Northern as 997. A VERY big thank you to Mr. Thomas Rousseau for pointing out I had incorrect information in this caption. Rio Grande GP7 5110
Title:  Rio Grande GP7 5110
Description:  Coupled to a covered hopper, GP7 5110 does some work at North Yard in Denver. Having come from EMD in June 1952, 5110 would be sold in 1972 to the Rock Island. After spending five years on the CRI&P, 4206 (the CRI&P number) would be sold to Precision National. PNC would own it until sale to Chicago & North Western in 1980. C&NW would operated 4456 until 1986 when it was traded in to EMD and scrapped.

Rio Grande GP7 5112
Title:  Rio Grande GP7 5112
Description:  Where narrow gauge power of the D&RGW and RGS once tread, GP7 5112 trundles freight past the ageing depot at Ridgway. 5112 was built by EMD in June 1952. Like the narrow gauge before, 5112 would disappear from the roster in 1972, having be sold to the Rock Island. It would be rebuilt by the ICG in 1976 as CRI&P 4442. After Rock Island shutdown in 1980, 4442 would be sold to the C&NW, becoming C&NW 4117. 4117 would make it onto the UP roster and was retired in 1996.

Description:  GP7 5113, seen here at Bond in July 1966, was built by EMD in June 1952. In 1972, 5113 was sold to the Rock Island, becoming CRI&P 4209. It was rebuilt by ICG in 1976, being renumbered 4443. C&NW would buy the unit in 1981 after the Rock Island shutdown. As C&NW 4118, it would make it to the UP merger in 1995 and was retired in 1998.
