Burlington Route 10 roomette-6 double bedroom (10RM-6DB) sleeper #434 SILVER PLAIN, which was built by Budd in June 1952 in Lot #9660-112 to Pullman Plan #9531 for the BLACK HAWK. To BN, planned # unknown, sold to Amtrak in 1971 as #2661, converted to head end power (HEP) in 1982 as #2466, retired in 2003 and sold to Illinois Transit Assembly (ITAX) in Madison, IL, now Gateway Coach. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate 35mm slide, brand is unknown. Exact date is approximate. |
