| October 1978: You're on a Saturday trip to see what the SCL and ASAB keep in Dothan AL and decide to troll along the Hartford & Slocomb RR, an obscure Alabama shortline. You find RS1 257 dozing at the end of the road's line in Hartford, and are insufferably pleased that it's in good condition, the sun angle is excellent and it's largely unobstructed. The unit is former Chicago & Western Indiana. |
