Moshassuck Valley Railroad No 9 getting new wheels         
Building on the right is part of Watt Terminal - they could unload 6 cars at a time. Durastone - manufactures of cement products, would get a car change-out once, and sometimes twice a day. The orange steel work is an overhead crane that runs on rails. Cement now comes in by truck and Watt Terminal is out of business

Douglas Aldrich General As a young boy in the late 1960's I used to get rides on #9 to Saylesville Warehouse which was located at the end of the rail line in the old Sayleville Bleachery complex. 3/22/2006 8:17:34 PM
