In one last closing moment while B&P crews run air tests, the Rail Gods shed tears from the skymaybe tears of sorrow for one final chapter in the history of the Knox & Kane, or maybe tears of joy for the new life that #39 will be serving. The Georges Creek Railway purchased #39, and Im sure Gerald Altizer and his team will do another stellar job when they restore her back into her original Western Maryland Circus paint scheme.

Wendy Crim General Great shot! Is the Knox & Kane all gone? 11/25/2010 9:28:01 PM
Kevin Ashbaugh General As of this date, rail removal is as far is 1/2 mile or so RR west of Zacherl's Fruit Market (Arthurs). Kovalchick Corp. pulled their crew in early summer to do a bigger job in Rose Yard in Altoona. Hard to tell when they will be back, hopefully not for a very long time. 11/25/2010 10:29:24 PM
