ARR 3013 About to Change Direction at Whittier Junctiion and Head Home to Seward  Contributor's Pick!       
The MEX (McKinley Express) is operated by ARR for Princess Lines in the summer Whittier to Princess's Lodge near Talkeetna and return each Saturday and Monday. The train is based in Seward. The violet flowers in the foreground are Fireweed. In the Lower 48 they tend to be reddish.
