Everyday. Here is an original telephoto view that I took in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, in March of 1972. Shown here is a closeup of Penn Central Railroad engine #9035, an SW7 built by GM-EMD for the Pennsylvania Railroad as number "9635" in May of 1950, and rated at 1,200 horsepower, and renumbered "9035" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. The name of the Engineman pictured here is not recorded. Photo taken near the Yard Master's Office, at the eastern end of South Juniata Street. |
