Here is a steam locomotive portrait by D.W. Eldridge that was taken in Peoria, Illinois, c. 1948. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8304, an H-10S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built Juniata as an H-8C during March of 1912, rebuilt as an H-10S in January of 1918, and retired in May of 1952 after 40 years of service.
