Larry De Bert	General	HAL 3309 was GSWR 4000 and HAL 3311 was GSWR 4002. Trivia - Halite was the name of a station back on the G & W when it was Narrow gauge. Halit being the geological name for the rock salt that was hauled by the railroad.	1/7/2012 9:09:11 PM

Hilton and Albany RR
My first photo of GWI's new Hilton and Albany RR subsidiary that operates former CofG/Southern/NS trackage between it's namesake towns. GWI now controls the entire line from Albany GA to Panama City FL via Dothan AL. The units seen here formerly operated on the Georgia Southwestern which GWI also operates and whose tracks this train will cross over in about 10 miles at Arlington GA.
