Wow - believe this is one of two EMD model SC switchers assembled at GE Erie. This unit was originally Lackawanna 426, then went to P&BR, Steelton and Highspire, back to P&BR where it was repowered with an 8-567B in 1962, then to Bethlehem Mines 109.

Note the pre-AAR style trucks. Believe the built date was 3/35. Originally had an 8 cylinder Winton 201A engine.

I seen that thing at the helper terminal in Cresson in the mid-90's in BSC's basic yellow and black. Think it went east to a museum.

the reporting mark should be BMIX not BMC.
