| Delivered to Penn Central as 8018 in August 1972 then absorbed in 1976 by Conrail as 8018. After lease expiration EMD dropped the zero and this unit entered the lease pool as EMDX 818, later rebuilt and delivered to UP as 1953 then renumbered to UP 453. After a second lease expiration this Geep can now be seen working as LLPX 2288 still wearing UP yellow. A complete change from PC black and white. |
