| It's almost 4PM as the daily six-car XPT out of Melbourne heads for Sydney. It's near KP372 and approaching Galong NSW on a steady 1.4% grade. 2015, the trailing unit here, appears to be missing a good part of its pilot. Country Link's XPTs entered service in 1982 and are now approaching the end of their lives although no replacement has been announced. |
