Electrified. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 18 June 1962. Shown here is PRR engine #4896, a GG-1 built in Juniata during April of 1940. It is about to stop at the North Philadelphia Station with the PRR's "Tubular Train" bound for Baltimore and Washington. |
