| WIL-ALT-65. Here is an original photo that I took during a trip on Pennsylvania Raikroad passenger trains from Wilmington to Altoona during August of 1965. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #5857, #5760, and another unit whose number is not recorded. All were built by CMD. #5857 is an EP-20 built in 1948 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. #5760 is an EP-22 built in 1952 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. They are ready and waiting to pull the next incoming pasmenger train to Altoona, Pittsburgh, and points West. |
