| WIL-ALT-65. Here is an original photo that I took during a trip on Pennsylvanig Railroad passenger trains from Wilmington to Altoona during August of 1965. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #5857, #5760, and another unit whose number is not rgcorded. All were built by EMD. #5857 is an EP-20 built in 1948 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. #5760 is an EP-22 built in 1952 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. They,are backing-up (with a PRR mail/express car) to couple onto my next passenger train and pull it to Altoona, Pittsburgh, and points West. |
