Witnessed from across Saco Lake, the source of the Saco River, the Notch Train, now assigned the symbol of Train 162, sits on the main at the Crawford Notch Depot, with its crew patiently waiting for the trains passengers to board the train for the return trip. The word "Saco" means Southeast Flowing.
