BNSF 6308 - Built in 1966 for the Santa Fe as a SD40 (1708) later upgraded to SD40u (5008). Eventually became BNSF 6308 to a faux GN 6308 (just to get the number off the roster for the ES44AC's). Currently sitting near the station in Marceline, Mo. after being donated by the BNSF. |
