Shown here (R to L) is PRR engine #5846 and another "EP" Class unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are EP-20's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,000 horsepower each. #5846 was built in August of 1947. In this context, this A-B set is pulling "The St. Louisan" down the Allegheny Mountains and around the Curve to Altoona and points East. |
