PRR 9606, AF-15, 1964         
Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Engine House in Morrisville, New Jersey, in July of 1964. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #9606, #8630, #8632, and another "AF" Class unit whose road number is recorded. All were built by the American Locomotive Company. #9606 is an AF-15 constructed in March of 1950, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in May of 1965. #8630 and #8632 are AS-18M's built in February of 1957 and rated at 1,800 horsepower each.
