In 14 years of railfanning the Tomah Sub, I'd never taken a shot at the west end of this siding just west of the Wisconsin Dells before. 199 was already here when I arrived, taking the siding with its tail end hanging out onto the main on the east end. The two trains performed a "saw-by" maneuver, with 288 pulling up to the control point on the main and waiting for 199 to pull clear. |
