PRR 4726, P-5A, 1960         
Electric Action. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Columbia, Pennsylvania, on 22 July 1960. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4726 and another "Boxcab" whose road number is not recorded. Both are P-5A (2-C-2) electrics rated at 3,750 horsepower each. #4726 was built by Baldwin-Westinghouse during December of 1932 and retired in May of 1963 after 31 years of service. Note the railroader riding on the front steps of the lead unit. ("PrrFan18n")
