Here is page two of a three-page article entitled "Logansport To Effner." It was published originally in the September 1952 issue of "Pennsy" magazine, page 15. Bottom Left-Hand Photo Caption: "A yard diesel, most efficient engine for Branch work, spots a car alongside grain elevator. Corn, then soy beans are the big crops." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9360, an ES-12M switcher built by GM-EMD in June of 1950 and rated at 1,200 horsepower.
