Another cool thing about railfanning the Rockland Branch in the past few months is that between slower trips down with heavier trains and Midcoast often staying in town a bit longer to perform a "live interchange" with Pan Am, the eastbound runs have often been a bit later in the day allowing for good light at spots you couldnt really get as well during the CMQ/CP days. Here RB-2 with FGLK 2308 for power slowly winds its way through Bath, Maine approaching Centre Street with the Chocolate Church to the right, a landmark in Bath. They had the second longest train the Rockland Branch has seen in years at just shy of 30 cars. As of late October another B23-7; FGLK 2310 has arrived in Rockland so hopefully the long hood forward trips westbound will become a thing of the past.
