| This is one of those photos you see in TRP Magazines "Close But No Cigar" section, where the shot misses the mark somehow. I had shot the head end of the train at "downtown" Baron, by the signal and grade crossing, then wanted to set up to get the DPU as it crossed Baron Creek. I may have mentioned that my camera has been acting up, and it did here, The plan was to get the DPU on the plate girder section of the bridge, which was still sunlit. The shutter hesitated, and I missed the sunny shot, but did get the power on the truss part. Oh well...would have been nice with the power in the light, and pretty sky. |
