| Built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in August of 1918 as BO #4548 (serial #49614), it served for nearly 39 years before the loco was assigned the number BO 346 in 1956. Sadly it probably never actually renumbered. because the loco was scrapped in April of 1958 at Mt Clare, MD. Specs - Q-3 class, 64" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine weight of 292,000 lb, tractive effort of 53,800 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo and no exact day in 1947 was given. |
