Built by Baldwin in December of 1923 as B&O 2-10-2 Santa Fe type steam locomotive #6140 (serial #57569), the loco was put to work hauling long drags of freight cars especially in the hilly/mountainous Cumberland division areas. The loco served nearly 32 years before being retired and scrapped in 1955. Specs - 64" drivers, 220 psi boiler pressure, 30x32" cylinders, engine weight of 436,510 lb, tractive effort of 84,300 lb.
