| Fresh from its rebuilt, Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific GP9R #4484 made a visit to Memphis, TN, in its bright read and yellow paint scheme. Built by EMD in May of 1957 as CRIP GP9 #1318, After the collapse of Rock Island, this loco moved over to first the CNW roster and then onto the MRL roster. Final disposition is unknown.
