ALCO 5
Saratoga, Corinth & Hudson's main power for the first two years of it's existence sit by the Corinth "depot", ready to hand off the torch to the new RS-3s. The #5 was the Alco Schenectady plant switcher, while #3021 is actually ex-US Army, but painted and numbered as a D&H unit. Longer trains and longer runs to Lamothe's Landing taxed the abilities of the two locomotives, and gave little downtime for maintenance, so SC&H acquired two RS-3s to take over.
