Description:  This locomotive was built in March 1974 for Public Service Co. of Indiana as GP38-2 WG2 which became Amax Coal WG2 and was then sold to Rail Car Limited as RMPX GP38-2 2. This diesel was sold to Kiamichi and became 3871 but still wears RMPX green with a KRR patch on the cab.

Description:  Both of these Kiamichi GP38-2s were assembled for Public Service Co. of Indiana in 1974 and both are now employed by the same line in different schemes. Parked in Melissa with a short train in tow waiting for a crew to arrive and head back to Dallas.
