RJC 1832 on the old Cincinnati Northern
Title:  RJC 1832 on the old Cincinnati Northern
Description:  RJ Corman's Greenville Job rolls through the fields of western Ohio between Ansonia and Greenville, riding the rails of the old NYC Cincinnati Northern Route. Just beyond the trees to the right of the train is the former location of the diamond with the abandoned PRR Bradford Subdivision called Meeker.

RJ Corman's Greenville Job rolls through the fields
Title:  RJ Corman's Greenville Job rolls through the fields
Description:  RJ Corman's Greenville Job rolls southbound on the old Cincinnati Northern as it approaches its namesake terminus of Greenville. GP16 1832 is leading, while GP20E 4121 is positioned mid-train due to an unusual track arrangement that requires engines on each end in Greenville.

RJC 1832 and RJC 4121
Title:  RJC 1832 and RJC 4121
Description:  The RJ Corman Greenville Branch power sits tied down about a mile south of Ansonia. I was hoping they would be running today. No such luck unfortunately.

RJC 1832
Title:  RJC 1832
Description:  Some really rare birds were being moved to LTE on the Indy Line today. A pair of ex-BNSF B40-8s that had been sitting in storage for several years down in Texas were finally sold off and heading to their final resting place in Lordstown, OH. CSX has recently been making several of these funeral moves on CSX M332, and todays including a H1 Dash 8, and a Bluebonnet Dash 8, 1 of 2 left in existence. I had the day off, so I knew I had to go down and see them before they were gone forever. I decided to go over to Ohio since I find the Indy Line more photogenic over there, especially since it still has Conrail and NYC era trilight signals still standing. As I came into Union City I could hear the Corman working on their frequency. I almost didnt go further east, but I am glad I did, as when I came into Ansonia I found them beginning to take off back south toward Greenville with around 30 cars. I quickly got out ahead of them and grabbed a shot just south of Ansonia after taking a slight turn directly south.
