GN 599, still in BN paint, is on a side track in BNSFs small yard in Skykomish. The tracks in the foreground are 1/8 scale tracks owned by the Great Northern & Cascade Railway, a tourist attraction operating out of the Skykomish depot. The 599 has since been repainted into GNs Empire Builder scheme by volunteers at the GN&C and the depot. |
