Description:  Scanned from a print taken by my friend Wes Rupe. Wes's notes say he caught this setting with 2 C&IM SD38-2's on the Cotton Belt at I-220 near Shreveport. I assume HLLX was another "arm" of Helm Leasing, if not please comment. I found only 1 previous picture of this engine on this site and it had a rich history, described in very good detail by Roberto Alaniz.

Title:  HLLX 2590
Description:  Delivered to Louisville & Nashville as GP38-2 4080 in September 1982, to SBD 4080, then becoming CSX 2590 after the merger. CSX sold this unit to Helm becoming HLLX 2590 then was sent to AMF Transport for rebuilding emerging as SP 4855 in June 1995. In September 1997 this unit was renumbered UP 1981, then UP 481 in October 2000. This unit was retired from the UP roster on October 13, 2003, current disposition unknown.
