The selected location is based on the 1935 and 1952 CB&Q Locomotive Assignment Sheets. Number 571 was built by the Brooks Locomotive Works (Alco) in March 1905 as CB&Q class R-4 2-6-2 number 1973 (c/n 30429). It was rebuilt in October 1929 to 0-6-0 number 571 and sold for scrap in July 1952. |
